How to Join
Runaway RP is a whitelisted server. Getting in takes a few minutes — here is the whole path, start to finish.
- Install FiveM and make sure Steam is open and logged in — your Steam account is your Runaway account.
- Join our Discord and read the rules.
- Log in with Steam on this site, then apply for whitelisting. Tell us a little about yourself and your roleplay experience. Staff review applications and you can follow the result under My Applications.
- Get approved. As soon as a staff member accepts your application you are whitelisted automatically — there is nothing else to claim.
- Connect by pressing F8 in FiveM and entering:
connect runawayrp.com - Create a character in-game. Come back here any time to see your characters on your dashboard.
Jobs, departments & gangs
Some roles are not open to everyone and have their own application. Once you are whitelisted and have a character, you can apply from the Apply page:
Police
Pick the character you are applying with and the department you want to join. The command staff of that department review your application.
EMS
Apply with one of your characters and choose the department. Staff review EMS applications.
Gangs & organizations
Tell us about your crew, its backstory and goals. The character you apply with becomes its leader. Staff review these applications.
- Police, EMS and gang applications need a character — create one in-game first.
- You can have one pending application of each type at a time. Your applications, their status and any note from the reviewer are all under My Applications.
- An accepted police or EMS application means you are approved — the department then brings you on board in-game, so keep an eye on Discord and the city.
